Dear Friends,
This years retreat is an opportunity to celebrate
the milestones in our lives and become more aware of the transitions
taking place around us. Fifty seems to be the number
for the year - I will be celebrating 50 years in the ministry, Tim
Leach, Lauren Lane Powell and President Obama all turn 50 in the
next few months. Another milestone is that this will also be
the last retreat at Bergamo Center. There may be retreats in
the future in a different location and with a different format and
emphasis, but this is the last one in this location, with this
format, and focus.
Any celebration of a milestone brings with it a
transition to the next phase of life. As we position ourselves
for what could be a big transition in 2012, this retreat is an
opportunity to come together and share ideas as to what that next
phase may look like. Will we approach with fear and dread or
will we enter by standing in the truth of who we are and the
co-creative role we
have to play in this important time? I invite you to join
me for this weekend of celebration and contribute your energy toward
creating a vision for a more enlightened tomorrow!
In addition to my sharing with you several times, we will also have
other speakers, small group discussions and of course, the 20th
Annual Talent Show! Practitioners from many different modalities
will be available for you to experience their specialties in a space
of healing and non-judgment.
The retreat begins on Friday night at 6 PM (September 2, 2011) and
ends on Labor Day, Monday (September 5, 2011) with lunch. Resident
packages include 9 meals, lodging with private baths and access to
all main meetings. There is a slight increase in the cost this year
as your package also includes a special celebration dinner and toast
for my 50th anniversary on Saturday night. Packages start around
$285.00 per person.
All we can do is provide a space for you to make this choice for the
future. It will be up to the participants to expand their
understanding and make the changes necessary in their lives to
change the course of this world. I invite you to be a part of
this amazing weekend.

Participating in David’s 50th Celebration:

your desire to be part of the program with your idea)
1) Attend and be a part of the “Toast” On Sat PM or the “Roast”
during the Talent Show on Sunday.
2) Take a song and change the words to be about David.
3) Create a Skit or Write a poem about how David’s Ministry has
touched your life.
Can’t Attend? How about...
1) Sending in a video of what David’s Ministry has meant to you.
2) Sending a card expressing your sentiments as to how his ministry
has changed your life.

costs for lodging, meals, marketing, and rental of the facility only.
Your registration fee does not include practitioner sessions, donation
for Light Within, or Small Group Facilitators. For special
packages (attending only part of the retreat) call for a package quote.
